At TU Delft I coordinate and teach courses on interaction design and speculative design as part of the Design for Interaction (DfI) masters program, which I direct (since Feb. 2024). I coordinated and taught a course on design futures for the bachelours program, and have developed and coordinated a climate bootcamp for all incoming BSc students.
I’ve played a part in two of the minor programs the faculty offers to bachelours students across the university: Interactive Environments and Designing Sustainability Transitions.
In the past I taught courses on media and ideology, new media, and environmental communication in Simon Fraser University’s School of Communication.
I’ve had the pleasure of supervising a variety of MSc. graduation projects, and some of my talented students went on to present their work at Dutch Design Week.
The PhD students I’m currently supervising are working on futures literacies, critical approaches to AI, and regenerative sustainability.
